Terms and Conditions For the use of the DBTCrisis Button Mobile Application

The company GRUPO MÁS DBT TERAPIA CONDUCTUAL DIALÉCTICA SpA (hereinafter referred to as “GRUPO CLÍNICO MÁS” or the “Company”), RUT N° 76.951.465-1, with its main address in the city of Santiago de Chile, is the owner of the mobile application DBTCrisis Button.

 

1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions.

1.1. By accessing and using our mental health mobile application focused on DBT (DBTCrisis Button) (hereinafter referred to as “the Application”), you agree to and are bound by the following terms and conditions of use.

1.2. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, we recommend that you do not use this application.

 

2. Personal and Non-Commercial Use.

2.1. The Application is designed for personal, non-commercial use. It is not permitted to use it to promote, sell, or distribute products or services without our prior written consent.

2.2. The use of the Application in a manner that interferes, disrupts, or damages its functionality or the experience of other users is not allowed.

 

3. Premium Users and Additional Features.

3.1. The Application may offer a premium subscription option that provides users with access to additional features and functionalities (“Premium Users”).

3.2. By becoming a Premium User, you agree to pay the corresponding fees according to the terms and conditions set forth in the subscription process.

3.3. The availability, scope, and nature of the additional features may vary and are subject to change without prior notice.

3.4. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue the additional features offered to Premium Users at any time and at our sole discretion.

3.5. We do not guarantee the continuous availability of the additional features and we disclaim any liability for any interruption, discontinuity, or changes to them.

3.6. By becoming a Premium User, you understand and agree that the subscription fees paid are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the subscription terms.

3.7. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your subscription as a Premium User if the established terms and conditions are not met or if there is improper use of the additional features.

3.8. Canceling the subscription as a Premium User does not exempt you from complying with the general terms and conditions of use of the Application.

4. Information and Content.

4.1. The Application provides information and content related to mental health and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). 4.2. Such information is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It should not be considered as professional medical or therapeutic advice. We are not responsible for decisions made based on the information provided in the Application.

4.3. It is always recommended that you seek a qualified mental health professional or physician before making any decisions or taking any actions related to your mental health or well-being.

 

5. Disclaimer of Liability.

5.1. You understand and agree that the Application cannot replace professional medical or therapeutic care.

5.2. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts or tendencies, we urge you to seek immediate help through emergency hotlines, mental health services, or specialized professionals.

5.3. We are not responsible for any harm or consequences resulting from actions related to suicide. The Application should complement, not replace, professional care. Furthermore, it is the user’s responsibility to confirm and use appropriate emergency resources based on their location and situation.

5.4. The Application may provide information about helplines and emergency resources; however, their availability, accuracy, or effectiveness is not guaranteed. It is the user’s responsibility to confirm and use appropriate emergency resources based on their location and situation.
